Junz comes to Parker and puts this city on the dining map. Enter into a lovely space with the focal point a sushi bar displaying the most gorgeous array of rolls ever to delighted fans. The rest of the room is upscale, but casual, with warm colors and comfortable seating. The servers are dressed beautifully, echoing the art of the food. No detail is overlooked including an excellent, affordable wine list. Chef/owner Jun worked with Jean Louis in Washington and his talent does not stop. Start with sushi: each platter is breathtaking to see, better to eat. Enjoy fresh ginger and fresh wasabi along with the usual accompaniments. The cuisine at Junz is French/Japanese and the influence is reflected throughout the menu. Start with an amazing soft shell crab salad, crispy crab over beautifully dressed greens, a marvelous tuna tartar or a lobster salad. The king salmon is perfect with sundried diced tomato sauce and saffron rice risotto, the Chilean sea bass with lobster bouillabaisse sauce ethereal. Tempura, chicken teriyaki and steak are other choices. End with tiramisu or divine crème brulee. Junz is what every restaurant should be.
